Athens woman wants to be the voice of Jeep
The Athens Banner Herald came to VO talent Kelley Buttrick’s studio to interview her about the art of voiceover and her innovative KB4Jeep efforts.
It was her love of Jeep that willed Kelley Buttrick to break all the rules of the voiceover industry.
Buttrick, who lives in the Athens area, created a series of videos, emails and mailers marketing herself as the new voice of Jeep and sent them to the leaders of the car company.
“I’m doing what any Jeep owner would do. I’m getting off the paved road. I’m making my own path, and I am going after a brand I feel really strongly about. I want to voice for Jeep,” Buttrick said in one of her videos.
